Kalenborn Abresist Corporation Announces Promotion of Chief Operating Officer to President

Urbana, Indiana– March 17, 2026 — Kalenborn Abresist Corporation, a leading provider of wear-resistant linings and materials for industrial applications across North America, today announced the promotion of Scott Dietrich, currently Chief Operating Officer, to the role of President, effective April 1, 2026.

In his current role as COO, Dietrich has been instrumental in driving operational excellence, strengthening customer partnerships, and advancing the company's long-term strategic initiatives. His leadership has played a pivotal role in expanding manufacturing capabilities, improving process efficiency, and guiding the company through dynamic market conditions.

Dietrich joined Kalenborn Abresist in 1989, beginning his career in the company's welding department. Over 36 years, he has progressed through increasingly responsible positions, including department lead, shop foreman, plant manager, and director of production, before being named Chief Operating Officer in March 2023. His deep operational expertise and comprehensive understanding of the company's manufacturing processes have been instrumental in Kalenborn's continued success.

As President, Dietrich will oversee all aspects of corporate strategy, operations, and growth initiatives for Kalenborn Abresist Corporation. He will continue to work closely with the company's global leadership team as well as its customers across key industries, including mining, cement, steel, power generation, and bulk material handling.

Craig Frendewey, who has served as President since March 2017, will transition to Manager of Business Development, reporting to senior management of both Kalenborn Canada and Kalenborn Abresist. Frendewey will retire at the end of 2026 but will remain on the Board of Directors for both Kalenborn Canada and Kalenborn Abresist, continuing to provide strategic guidance to the organization.
