Kalenborn strengthens on-site execution, safety, and customer support for industrial wear and refractory projects.
April 6, 2026: Kalenborn Abresist, a trusted provider of advanced abrasion-resistant linings and coatings for severe-wear industrial environments, announced today that Andy Sojka has been named Field Service Director.
In this role, Sojka will provide overall management and direction across multiple field projects, with a focus on refractory work and field execution excellence. He will guide project teams to ensure schedule adherence, budget performance, and consistent quality while maintaining strong working relationships with owners, architects, and on-site stakeholders. Sojka will also support new business development tied to refractory services, provide administrative direction to project leadership, and mentor team members to strengthen safety, workmanship, and team cohesiveness.

Sojka brings 30 years of industrial construction experience, primarily supporting refractory work. Known for collaborating closely with customers, he emphasizes delivering high-quality workmanship while supporting professional growth and a positive team culture.

Sojka earned a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University – Calumet Campus. His professional background also includes Certified Laborer credentials and experience as a Laborer’s Apprentice Board Member.
